Should Writers Be Blogging?
25 Oct 2016
WRITERS... Does blogging worth it?
The answer is; I agree entirely that If you’re comfortable getting into a routine and posting regularly, and you really have something interesting to say about your writing on a regular basis, then it’s a great way to promote yourself and your work.
If you enjoy it and feel you can do it well, then it’s a big asset; but if you don’t enjoy it, find other means of promoting your writing.
So, how should you promote your writing?
You perhaps better use other social media platforms to keep yourself in the public eye. And remember, whatever you choose, make sure you keep a sense of balance. There’s no point spending so long on it that you can’t find enough time to write!
A quick Question! How many social media are there? Will you manage being active in all of them? Mind you, writing needs regular practice. People need to see you writing everyday, every week, every month or even thrice a year.
There’s been a huge number of blogs in the internet. There are loads of YouTube clips and tutorials telling you how to make them. Friend, proceed with care! Unless you’re really confident and know how to present yourself then you might be better sticking to a written blog.
Do you really want to have to face your computer every week, come rain or shine, earn a dime or loose, make yourself engaging to an audience?
I know some wouldn’t.
Final call; If you are considering setting up a blog and have never done it before have a look at How to Start a Blog Online Tutorial you will find plentiful of useful and enlightening information.
